Despite taking the lead in the 7th minute, Yokohama were unable to beat Niigata and their referee as Yokohama were sent home with zero points and ALL of the yellow cards....

Blake said: I only caught the last 25 minutes but the ref looked like a complete have. He was blowing the pea at every opportunity and they were only going one way. I think the best call of the day was on Iikura, that card managed to incense everyone on the sideline.

Shunsuke’s outside of the boot cross to Sakata, which made the highlights, was pretty special though. Nice to see Shunsuke doing some highlight worthy play after his injury.
